About
OneFarm Impact.

OneFarm Impact NPC is a non-profit company without members, incorporated under the Companies Act 71 of 2008, and is fully registered and approved across South Africa’s non-profit regulatory framework.

Our Foundation

Anchored in the Standard Bank Group

OneFarm Impact’s OneFarm Share programme was established in late 2020 by Standard Bank, the programme’s founding partner and principal funder, in partnership with Agri FinTech HelloChoice, embedded within Standard Bank’s agribusiness ecosystem — a socio-economic development initiative to combat hunger in South Africa during the COVID-19 pandemic.

OneFarm Impact NPC was established in 2021 to operate the OneFarm Share programme, and Standard Bank remains closely connected to its governance and funding. This relationship anchors our work in the security, stability, long-term commitment, and rigorous governance standards of the Standard Bank Group, while our non-profit structure ensures that the programme remains wholly dedicated to public benefit.

OUR COMMITTMENT

Good governance is not an administrative formality. It is the foundation of trust.

Trust placed in us by farmers, donors, funders, beneficiary organisations, and the communities we serve. Through clear structures of accountability, the backing of the Standard Bank Group, and a Board dedicated to our mission, we ensure that every rand entrusted to us, and every kilogram of food contributed, delivers the greatest possible impact.

Together, these registrations subject the organisation to the governance, reporting, and accountability requirements of South African company law, the Nonprofit Organisations Act, and the Income Tax Act – ensuring transparency in how we operate and how donor funds are applied.
