A model that works for everyone.

Every day in South Africa, millions of people face hunger and food insecurity, with children going to school hungry and families struggling to put nutritious meals on the table.

OneFarm Impact exists to serve communities in need through a practical, scalable and collaborative system that creates meaningful impact for farmers, communities, and the environment. As a funding vehicle, OneFarm Impact facilitates collaboration and partnership opportunities to drive transformation within South Africa’s agriculture sector, providing an efficient, transparent and auditable channel to deploy impact funding and deliver meaningful, multiplied impact.

We’ve built a system where every part of the chain benefits, from farm to community.

Operating across all nine South African provinces, OneFarm Impact’s flagship OneFarm Share programme takes a sector-wide view of agriculture. It engages multiple stakeholders across the agri-food system — connecting smallholder farmers, commercial growers, packers, processors, national fresh produce markets, food distributors, and transporters — in a single integrated circular food system that creates a more inclusive and efficient agri-food value chain. Fresh produce is redirected to where it’s needed most, while simultaneously tackling food and nutrition insecurity in South Africa, supporting smallholder farmer enterprise development, and reducing the environmental and economic impact of agricultural food waste.

Where every part of the chain benefits.

For Smallholder Farmers

We purchase produce at fair market prices, pay within 24 hours, and provide support to help farmers grow sustainable agri-businesses.

Over 2.9 million smallholder farmers operate in South Africa, yet 90% have no direct relationship with formal markets. Most wait 30 to 90 days for payment and lose 40 to 60% of potential income to intermediaries.

For Commercial Producers

We collect surplus, sub-spec, or non-export-grade produce from commercial farmers, processors, packers, and national fresh produce markets, saving time and reducing administrative costs, while turning it into meaningful impact for millions of food-insecure people across South Africa.

our impact

At OneFarm Impact, we believe that impact starts with one—one farmer, one mission, one community at a time.

When enough individuals commit to the same mission, food systems change. Here’s what that collective transformation looks like:
